Dr. Kristi H. Angevine, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. is a board certified OB/GYN who has been with the WHS network since 2010.
Dr. Angevine grew up in Kingsport, TN before attending UT: Chattanooga in order to pursue her undergraduate degree. She graduated from UTC in 2000, with summa cum laude honors. Dr. Angevine then continued on to East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine, graduating in 2006. Finally, Dr. Angevine completed her residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine shortly thereafter.
Dr. Angevine has been a Junior Fellow American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2005 and was a member of the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society in 2006. In addition, Dr. Angevine has been the recipient of several awards, including the Ann Tranum Hawkins Award for Excellence in Women’s Health in 2006 and the Bayer Health Care Pharmaceutical Best Teaching Resident in 2008. Dr. Angevine also was nominated for the Harold Alpert Humanism in Medicine award in 2010.
