Dr. John S. Adams has been a member of the WHS network since 1997, and is a practitioner at his own OB/GYN practice.
Dr. John S. Adams received his B.S. in Chemistry from Xavier University in 1983, and graduated from the Tulane University School of Medicine in 1987. Following graduation, Dr. Adams served in the United States Navy where he earned the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He completed his residency at the United States Naval Hospital in San Diego, California in 1993. Dr. Adams practiced medicine in California, Guam, and North Carolina before moving to Chattanooga, TN in 1995 and going into private practice in 1997. He also served as Chief of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Parkridge East Hospital from 1999 through 2003, and 2005 to 2007.
Dr. Adams is a member of the Hamilton County Medical Society and Tennessee Medical Association, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is currently on the Board of Governors for both Parkridge Medical Center and The Physician’s Surgery Center.
Dr. John S. Adams currently lives in Chattanooga, TN with his wife of 30 years, Annette. He has three sons; John Jr, Gentry and Jarrod.
